Our mission at Fighting For Damion is to spread the story of Damion and his courageous battle against Spinal Muscular Atrophy. We are dedicated to sharing our knowledge and experience to help raise awareness of SMA.
Fighting For Damion started in late July, 2011 all because of a handsome little guy named Damion Antonio Caraballo. In May 2011 when he was born, no one could have known the impact that he would have on every life he has touched, even in the smallest of ways. Damion's fight with Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a reminder to all that life is full of unexpected obstacles that unfortunately we must maneuver.
Our volunteer members are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in your life and those around you. Don't just stand on the sideline get engaged in your community.
